Google Sheets : Create Filter views

Here is the current process for saving and accessing a filter view:

1.Create a filter view:

Click Data > Create filter view from the top menu. The borders of your spreadsheet will turn dark gray to indicate you are in an isolated view.

2.Name your filter view:Crucial for finding it later.

In the dark gray bar at the top left, click the default name (e.g., “Filter 1”) and type a descriptive name.

3.Apply your filters:

Click the filter dropdown arrows on your column headers to apply your conditions. The view saves these choices automatically.

4.Exit the view:

Click the X or Close icon in the top right corner of the dark gray bar to return to the standard spreadsheet view.

To load this saved filter at any time, click Data > Change view and select the name of your saved view from the list.
